David E. Lancaster, C.A.
David was educated in
Burnaby, BC. After graduating from the British Columbia Institute of
Technology (BCIT) in 1983 with a diploma in financial management, David
began working for our predecessor firm Powell Street, Chartered
Accountants. David earned a Certified General Accountant (CGA)
designation in 1991 before completing his Chartered Accountant (CA)
designation in 1993, at which time he entered into partnership with B.R.
(Doc) Street and Frank Powell with the firm becoming known as Powell
Street Lancaster. In 1998 David and Michael merged their two respective
firms and thus we now have Lancaster & David.
David’s
primary focus is that of small to medium sized private companies. He has
extensive experience in providing comprehensive financial services to
entrepreneurs, owner-managers, professionals, operators of non-profit
organizations and other individuals.
Michael J. David, C.A.,
C.P.A.(Illinois)
Michael
also graduated from BCIT in 1983 and worked for a firm of Chartered
Accountants in downtown Vancouver that had a large client base of public
companies. Michael earned his Certified General Accountant designation in
1987 before receiving his Chartered Accountant designation in 1991.
Michael placed second in British Columbia in both the Accounting and
Taxation courses at the School of Chartered Accountancy. In 2003, Michael
obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. In 1992,
Michael became a partner in a downtown CA firm and in 1998, merged his
practice together with David's.
Michael’s
client base is mainly Canadian and US public companies for which he
provides a full range of auditing and accounting services.
